Experience an unforgettable 4-day Rinjani adventure that takes you from Sembalun to the summit (3,726 MASL), down to the stunning Segara Anak Lake, and finally back through either Senaru or Torean route. This trek offers breathtaking landscapes, thrilling challenges, and flexibility to choose your return path — all guided by our experienced local team.

Itinerary

Day 1: Senaru – Sembalun – Base Camps – Sembalun Crater Rim

  • Early pickup at 6:00 AM, followed by a scenic drive to Sembalun Village.

  • Registration at Rinjani Information Center (RIC).

  • Begin your hike:

    • Pos 1 (Pemantauan) – 2 hours

    • Pos 2 (Tengengean) – 1 hour

    • Pos 3 (Pada Balong) – 1 hour

  • Lunch at Pos 3.

  • Continue trekking 3 hours to Sembalun Crater Rim (Pelawangan Sembalun).

  • Set up camp with breathtaking sunset views over the mountain range.

Day 2: Summit Push – Lake – Hot Springs

  • Wake up at 2:30 AM for light breakfast and summit preparation.

  • Begin summit trek at 3:00 AM (approx. 3.5 hours).

  • Reach the Rinjani Summit (3,726 MASL) for sunrise – panoramic views across Lombok, Sumbawa, and Bali.

  • Descend to the crater rim for full breakfast.

  • Continue down to Segara Anak Lake for a peaceful lunch and a soak in the natural hot springs.

  • Camp overnight by the lake (altitude 2,000 MASL).

Day 3: Segara Anak Lake – Senaru Rim or Torean Trail

  • Enjoy a relaxed morning and lakeside breakfast.

  • At 11:30 AM, begin ascent to Senaru Crater Rim (2,641 MASL) — a 5-hour trek.

  • Arrive at camp with sweeping sunset views of Mount Rinjani and Gunung Baru.

  • Route briefing: Your guide will explain both Senaru and Torean descent options — you choose your preferred route for the final day.

Day 4: Descent to Senaru or Torean Village

  • After sunrise breakfast, begin your descent:

    • Via Senaru: 5-hour trek through dense tropical rainforest, passing Pos 3, Pos 2, Extra Pos, and Pos 1.

    • Via Torean: Scenic route with gentler slopes, river crossings, and dramatic cliffs.

  • Watch for playful black monkeys and native wildlife.

  • Arrive at either Senaru (601 MASL) or Torean Village based on your chosen route.

  • Lunch en route. Trek concludes by mid-afternoon.

Return & Pickup Details

  • Pickup Locations: Lombok Airport, Kuta Mandalika, Bangsal Harbor

  • Pickup Time: Between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
